All-on-X Dental Implants

With All-on-X, you can get a full arch replacement with only a few implants. All-on-X is a dental implant technique where the upper or lower set of teeth are replaced with just a few implants.

All-on-X implants act as a support mechanism for the placement of a new set of fixed teeth. Compared to other implant methods, the All-on-X technique doesn’t require the same density of bone in order to secure the implant.

The dental implant itself is a small titanium screw that is positioned into the jawbone, & then supports either a single tooth or a bridge of teeth. For the conventional dental implant procedure, a full arch rehabilitation required 6–8 implants to support a full fixed bridge.

The less invasive nature of the All-on-X also means the healing & rehabilitation process is considerably shorter.

Your dentist will go over what All-on-X means for you. Based on existing dental health factors, they will come up with a treatment plan that offers a return to the form & function of natural teeth. Most providers have payment plans available—or an in-house dental plan that offers significant savings for uninsured patients. So don’t let finances get in the way of your smile.

What Is All-on-X?

The All-on-X technique has given patients with oral bone health issues a better choice. In the past, a lack of upper jaw bone (frequently caused by sinus issues or bone loss) was a big problem for implant candidates, & often required bone grafting to build the jaw up. But the All-on-X technique has made a huge difference. This is great news for patients with osteoporosis or a lack of jaw bone. Now you can get the smile you deserve without additional procedures & return more quickly to your regular healthy habits.

Sleep Dentistry & All-on-X

Sleep dentistry is ideal for patients who are anxious about having a surgical dental procedure. Sleep Dentistry is the use of sedation administered & monitored by a qualified & experienced medical doctor. The treatment creates a calming, relaxed dream-like state for the entire procedure.

Talk to your dentist about the types of sedation options available. Be sure to plan on a designated driver after treatment. Even if you choose not to have sedation administered, localized discomfort for a short time after the procedure may make driving home uncomfortable.

Consultation Overview

During your consultation your dentist will explain what All-on-X is, & they will examine your teeth, gums, bone & smile using a panoramic scan. You & your dentist will then create a personalized treatment plan specifically for you.

Every consultation includes:

  • A thorough 30-minute All-on-X assessment with your dentist.
  • A 3D panoramic scan of your teeth & jaw.
  • A recommended treatment plan to restore your smile & get you back in the picture.
